CS Cabletron did well for us last week...hate to admit it, but I always panic when a stock drops after I purchase.Upon further due diligence, and put down by Marny...realized investors were shell shocked from a passive history...now I read signs pumping and dumping might occur..if that happens, we must watch carefully,possibly sell early and buy again...I hate this as it effects the true course of history and one can get hurt...however we have our vision on $20. Monday proved the stock was still holding strong and with announcements of a merger we moved over $12 and settled just under. Tomorrow should bring about a few more tremors and hopefully move higher as some have predicted to the $15 range...No one seems eager to sell as of yet.The pumping and dumping did not really get off the ground.Investing is always a risk, so do your homework!
Statistics say women make more money than men in the market...long term investing pays off better than short term...same as relationships, I guess. 5/11/99 Today should have seen more positive activity...in checking the volativity rate it was lower than most...however may consider a sell at $12 and watch...meanwhile I may play another stock. We'll see what a new day brings...attention was toward the internet stocks again.
